My research is interested in looking at the intersections of combinatorics and algebraic geometry. Broadly speaking, I aim to research the connection certain combinatorial properties of an object have on the geometric structure of that same object. In undergrad, I completed research projects in matroid theory (oriented matroids) and coding theory (minimum weight codewords on the Grassmannian). 

The picture was taken in San Juan, Puerto Rico and I am in front of some pigeonholes, so it's the pigeonhole principle in real life!
